Joe Newman - JoeSensation - Founder & Project Worker.
Joe "Sensation" Newman is an internationally recognized DJ with over 20 years of experience in the music industry. His career has taken him from international residencies in Dubai, U.A.E., to guest DJ appearances in New York, as well as soundtracking Sky Sports Boxing live as the BOXXER DJ on multiple shows, from London's Wembley Arena to Newcastle's Utilita Arena, reaching millions. He has toured as a DJ for Snoop Dogg, Sean Paul, Akon, The Game, and more, as well as U.K. artists Giggs, Tion Wayne, Chip, and others.
Joe is also a trained youth worker with a background in delivering music-focused projects to young people and adults of all backgrounds.
Jenna Senior - Project Manager and Young Peoples Engagement Coordinator
BA Honours in Informal and Community Education, and extensive training in Safeguarding, Trauma Informed Practice and Counselling, particularly person centered therapy. Jenna has over 20 years experience in working with children, young people and families, particularly those who are marginalised and at risk. Jenna specialised for a number of years in Child Sexual Exploitation and worked for Barnardo's pioneering some of their most innovative Projects, particularly in Secure Accommodation. Jenna is a qualified Advocate for children and young people and currently works for NYAS as the Coordinator within Durham Local Authority Independent Advocacy Service. Jenna has a real passion for music, especially utilising music to engage working with young people around feelings and emotions, and alongside this developing positive relationships.
